The Wittedrift community is situated fifteen kilometres from Plettenberg Bay in a very picturesque environment, in less than picturesque conditions. The township of Green Valley is situated some distance from the school, and these children have to walk in excess of six kilometres per day to get there. There are about 200 students enrolled at the school, with six teachers taking responsibility for seven classes. BIA has helped out by supplying an assistant teacher, as well as employing one mentor at Wittedrift
