At BIA parent meetings in October and November 2015, BIA staff, mentors and volunteers had the opportunity to share with parents this year’s many successes, discuss critical social issues and reiterate the importance of a support system at home, as well as give parents a taste of what is done at afterschool activities with some exciting presentations by BIA learners. The evening was accompanied by a slideshow presentation with pictures and details to give further insight into BIA projects. We are grateful to all the parents who attended, their input and commitment to working together to make a difference.
