The Wegde Classic is the longest standing Bodyboarding event in South African history. It was a privilege for our group of enthusiastic BIA learners to meet some of the most talented national and international bodyboarders around. They shared their personal experiences and expert knowledge of the sport with us and also joined the learners in the water for some practical application of what they were taught.

We are so proud of our BIA learners! Their enthusiasm was evident and inspiring despite the icy cold water and choppy seas. Thank you to everyone who helped with the development clinic, the learners loved it and who knows, maybe we now have a few pro-body boarders in the making...watch this space!
