We are so incredibly grateful and happy to announce that Born in Africa secured the winning 5^th place in Brussels for the ING Solidarity Award!  Belgian NPO’s were judged by the number of online votes they received which were an incredible 1373. In addition, BIA was also the favourite with the jury who found that our organisation was one with the most credible when it comes to community impact, the originality of our organisation as well as the implementation of our strategies. The funds received will be used towards the BIA study bursary program which will ensure our tertiary learners receive the education they rightly deserve. Thank you so much to Jaak Leenknegt for working effortlessly to promote BIA and thanks to all our loyal BIA friends for ultimately ensuring our place among the winners!
