Isabelle De Smul-Brink recently received the Visser-Neerlandia prize

The ceremony was held at the Almenkerk winery situated in the Western Cape and was attended by various local dignitaries as well as Flemish Minister-President, Kris Peeters and Gerrit Wiechers. Minister Peeters sang the praises of the work that Isabelle and her team have achieved. The prize has been awarded since 1955 as a reward for persons or organizations who are helping others in need.

The prize money will be allocated to the Born in Africa study bursary project. Thank you Mr Willy Leenders, Dolf Wieërs and members of the Marnixring Limburg Herkenrode for their help with the nomination. Well done Isabelle and the Born in Africa team!
