Jamie Kortje hails from Kranshoek and graduated from Wittedrift high in 2022.  Jamie obtained a bursary through Born in Africa to attend Wittedrift High because of her academic excellence and her outstanding behaviour which she kept up during her high school career.  What a pleasure it was to mentor her at the school hostel where she resided during the week.  Her soft caring nature is incredibly apt as she was accepted to study a 4- year degree in Nursing at the University of the Western Cape which she started in February of 2023.  We are super proud of Jamie who will no doubt do the very noble career of nursing proud once she graduates one day!
