Lorna Simoki

Lorna grew up in Kurland Village with her parents, brother and sisters. Even as a child she enjoyed looking after others and helping in the household. Lorna is made to work with people and so after graduating from Wittedrift High, she didn't have to think twice about what she wanted to study... Nursing! Because of the limited available spaces in this course, we decided to enroll her in a preparation course for home based care at Nightingale College in George. We are sure Lorna will be a great nurse one day!

After successfully completing her course in home based care at the Nightingale College, Lorna knew the social field really was her natural habitat and she wanted to explore it further. 2019 is the year she continued her studying towards a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Varsity College in Port Elizabeth. At the end of 2022, she completed these 3 years and, after writing the final exams for her major, could embark on the next journey in her life! Good luck Lornatjie!
