Mizaan Kam
Mizaan joined BIA when she was just 8 years old as a student at the Crags Primary School in Kurland Village, where she was born and raised. As a little girl she already had the dream to go to Wittedrift High School and she made sure she did everything to reach her goal.
From grade 8 she attended Wittedrift High with the support of BIA where she graduated successfully in 2017. Mizaan commenced her tertiary studies in 2018 at Varsity College in Port Elizabeth. She always had a passion to work with younger children, so the choice of studying to become a teacher was evident. For 4 years, she gave it her all and it all paid off when she obtained her BA degree in Foundation Phase Teaching at Varsity College in 2021. Mizaan's passion and perseverance will definitely help her become a great teacher. Good luck, Mizaan!
At the end of 2021, when Mizaan was on the brink of graduating, she wrote this heartfelt final report to her godparents.
