Sandy Stuurman

Sandy hails from the small community Kranshoek where she attended Kranshoek primary and as a young girl got selected for the Born in Africa program. Although life wasn't always easy for Sandy, she never lost track of her goal; to study further, get a degree and a good job is her purpose in life!

Her secondary school career was at Plett Secondary, where students really have to keep their focus in order to keep their grades high. Sandy managed to do so and always kept pushing herself to do better, which helped her tremendously to get into University after finishing grade 12.

In 2018 she was accepted at the University of the Western Cape and started her 5 year studies towards an LLB degree. It wasn't always easy and Sandy put in a lot of hard work, but it all paid off when she graduated with her Bachelor in LLB Law at the end of 2022! Sandy then embarked on her journey in the legal world and we wish her all the best!
