Our Courtney hails from the small community of Kurland Village, The Crags. She tragically lost her mother and is being raised single handily by her father who is doing a terrific job given the circumstances. Thanks to Born in Africa, Courtney was given the opportunity to study at Varsity college in 2020. She completed this 1- year higher certificate in Events planning at Varsity College in Port Elizabeth at the end of 2020. We are so proud of this young lady who despite her circumstances is working so hard at her tertiary studies. After this short course, Courtney was motivated to take on a 3- year Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English and didn't stop there, because she went on with her Honours Degree in Psychology at Varsity College. She obtained this qualification at the end of 2024 and at her graduation the following year, she was enrolled at SACAP in the postgraduate course in Education.
