Delon hails from the community of Kranshoek and started at Wittedrift High in grade 8, the year she also got enrolled in the Born in Africa program. After being one of the top students in her grade, she successfully got accepted at University of the Western Cape. Delon has a passion for science so her choice to study a teaching degree in biology and mathematics wasn’t a surprise to anyone. She completed the Bachelor program at the end of 2023 and then went on to study a Masters in Education, specializing in Mathematics. Good luck Delon!
