Vio-nett Van Rensburg

Vio-nett hails from a small community just outside of Plettenberg Bay called Green Valley. She is such a good example of a go-getter enrolling herself at Wittedrift High and who really worked very hard. Already in the program but without a BIA bursary her hard work did not go unnoticed, and we decided to take over her fees to assist her family. She really proved herself and was also selected as school prefect during her final year at school. Having a passion for children and their development really inspired her to embark on her teaching studies in 2021, even though that was not a normal year at all! At the end of her fourth year as a Bachelor of Education, and at the brink of her graduation, Vio-Nett wrote this amazing letter to honor all those who supported her along the way and a final summary of how she looks back on her internship and final year.. At the end of 2024, Vio-nett proudly graduated from Varsity College in Port Elizabeth as a Primary school teacher for the Foundation Phase, ready to start educating the little ones herself now! We are so proud of you and wish you many happy years of teaching brilliant minds.
