Ragne Cloete
Ragne grew up in the community of Kranshoek with her mom and dad, but after the sudden death of her dad, her mom and grandma played very important roles in her life. Ragne was raised to be an independent, determined and driven young lady. She has always been a happy and social girl who likes to interact and help others. Because of these characteristics we weren’t surprised at all when she wanted to study a 3-year bachelor’s degree at Varsity College to become a foundation phase teacher. She finished her qualification successfully in 2023. This wasn't the end though, as Ragne wanted to pursue her master's degree, for which she was accepted in 2024 and then went on to do her practical at several schools in the Eastern Cape. Ragne was earning her first salary in 2025 and so it was time for us to say our goodbye's. Ragne then sent us this beautiful final letter to thank us for 16 years of love and support. We know you’ll be a brilliant teacher, Ragne, and we are so proud of all your achievements! Keep dreaming big and inspiring young minds to do the same!
