Siyasanga Tenge
Siya, as she is fondly known, grew up in Plettenberg Bay. Sadly her father passed away when she was a young girl. Her mother, a teacher, raised her and her young sister single handedly.
Siya studied a diploma in Human Resource Management at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth. She completed her diploma in 2015 and did her B Tech degree in Human Resources in 2016.
Siya is one of those students who makes things happen for herself. She applied to Born in Africa to enter the programme herself and even spent a year volunteering for our organisation before she went to study.
