Kurland Village is a township in the Crags, located twenty-five kilometres from Plettenberg Bay, where many of its residents live in impoverished conditions, some in wooden shacks with no water or electricity. Unemployment is rife and HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, epilepsy, and high blood pressure are major health concerns. Our volunteers are always active at this school- assisting teachers, providing administrative support, computer classes, life orientation, and many other skills.
